“Congratulations on the launch of the Lusaka Agenda.

Indonesia hopes that it would be supportive to global and national health priorities towards achieving the Universal Health Coverage.

Indonesia also remains committed to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the global health financing ecosystem.

A sustainable and predictable financing is key to strengthening global health architecture.

The Pandemic Fund established during Indonesia’s G20 Presidency last year, is now moving forward with its first round of funding aimed at helping countries in building preparedness and resilience to future global health threats.

Moving forward, it is our fervent hope that the work of the Future of Global Health Initiatives would augment and be aligned with other processes, particularly, the ongoing negotiations of a WHO Pandemic Agreement and amendment to the 2005 International Health Regulations.”
