“I have been supporting the actions which have been consulted and agreed upon, therefore my commitment from Latin America is to continue supporting the process in the region and that many colleagues manage to understand that the initiative is not a danger to what has been achieved for key populations with respect to HIV, AIDS, tuberculosis and other STIs, but an opportunity to interact with governments and GHI and finally win the “citizens’ health and quality of life”.

The recommendations agreed with various stakeholders of the global health ecosystem are very important to improve the health gaps and to achieve more equitable and better monitoring of resources.

It is necessary for 2024 to continue with the process, to reach important working agreements with the actors of the system, especially with civil society, which in many countries assumes the role of the state with respect to the health of the most vulnerable populations.”
