โOn behalf of UHC2030 I welcome the launch of the Lusaka Agenda which concludes a series of important discussions involving a range of partners under the leadership of Kenya and Norway. UHC2030 is fully supportive of efforts to foster better alignment of all sources of funding towards national priorities and country-led reforms on universal health coverage (UHC).
We simply canโt achieve the UHC goals we have set for ourselves for 2030, without better alignment among global health initiatives. We would be delighted to use our convening platform to help promote dialogue and collective action among diverse stakeholders who are united by the imperative to build resilient and equitable health systems through primary healthcare.
This includes looking into how external funding contributes to the solution, as well as listening to the voices of communities and their people. We look forward to working closely with the Friends of the Future of Global Health Initiatives in taking this process forward.”
